Janet Velazquez, BA, MBA Candidate
Janet has dedicated 26 years, and counting, to the healthcare industry. Her passion for the business side of healthcare was sparked during the 2008 financial crisis when she partnered with a dentist to launch a startup in the midst of a national recession. Through that experience, she gained a deep and practical understanding of business fundamentals and discovered the critical role that intentional frameworks play in driving practice revenue.
Janet is diligently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the renowned Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, Florida, which is recognized internationally for its excellence. Her academic background further includes a degree in Organizational Leadership, Business, and Communication from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. holds Fellowship distinction with the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), and is a recognized Consultant with the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (NSCHBC), The American Association of Dental Office Management AADOM Speaker/Consultant Alliance (ASCA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), where she supports businesses in identifying and preventing employee theft and embezzlement.
Today, Janet works closely with select private practices to optimize the operational systems that directly influence profitability in a constantly evolving healthcare market.
