After spending over a decade in clinical dentistry, Janet Velazquez, owner of JV Practice Solutions, found her passion for Business during the global financial crisis of 2008 when partnering with a Dentist to open a startup. During this critical time, she discovered the significant financial consequences associated with the lack of intentional operational frameworks and workflow design. Since then, she has partnered with small to medium-sized businesses to develop and refine the many financial strategies that are demanded for growth in an ever-changing market.
As a paragon in the world of dentistry, recognized for her unparalleled expertise and unwavering dedication and leadership, Janet’s educational journey includes a degree in Organizational Behavior, Leadership and Business Communication from the prestigious, Rollins College of Winter Park, FL. She holds Fellowship distinction with the American Association of Dental Office Management -AADOM and is a recognized Consultant with the Academy of Dental Management Consultants-ADMC.
In recent years, Janet’s training and experience has expanded to include dental embezzlement examinations and fraud detection within dental offices. As a proud member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners -ACFE, she aims to continue helping Business Owners by adding a layer of support that helps safeguard businesses against this type of lost revenue.
